A grown woman ran from our 6 year old son today. :) Stephen - TopicsExpress

A grown woman ran from our 6 year old son today. :) Stephen asked me to pray with him last weekend for opportunities to find people and tell them about Jesus. He told me that he didnt want anyone ,after their soul walked out of their body, to spend their whole life separated from God when everyone who believes that Jesus died for them, is spending their life in heaven forever with Jesus. In Sunday school today, Sarah, had an awesome idea! She had them make a cover wrapper to go over Hershey bars with a picture they drew and this verse: Assurance of Salvation- Psalm 86:5- O Lord, You are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for ALL who ask for your help. The children were asked not to eat the candy themselves but to share it with someone who didnt know Jesus. On our way home, we stopped at Walmart for some much needed things. Stephen whipped out his chocolate bar and marched right up to the first person he saw. Excuse me? he said, do you know Jesus? Because if you dont , I want to give you this candy bar. Surprisingly, did you know that EVERY single person in walmart knows Jesus?? LOL thats what almost all of them said as they hurried him along. Stephen marched up to every single person we passed and with genuine love and concern for them, tired to tell them about how much Jesus loves them. Most people were touched by his effort, most thanked him for talking to them and one woman actually ran away. As I watched my young son fearlessly care about the strangers God set in his path, over and over and over, I had to hold my emotions at bay. No one took his candy and most everyone was not interested in hearing how much this little one cared about their future when their soul will inevitably leave their body. But he didnt stop... he loved them, he cared about them and he shook every single hand and wished them a happy day. To have the boldness and Faith of this precious child.... Do you know how much Jesus loves you? Mark 10:13-16 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them. Mark Jacobs Matthew Parr
