A guy that adopted a shepherd from me said a black female shepherd walked into his garage and started eating his dogs food. She was friendly but very thin. He had her checked for a microchip and ran ads. She was not claimed. But she came back heartworm positive. This man paid to have her heartworm treatment. She is now negative. He cannot keep her. She is young and a little bit destructive. She is trying to boss his shepherd around. This shepherd needs a home where you are active and can keep her busy. A running partner could be awesome for this girl. She is good around kids and friendly with people but he says she is a good guard dog. I am on hold intake until some of these dogs in the rescue get adopted. I am way way past full. I am waiting on a pic from the man. He says she is full blood German shepherd. Any takers ? I will get her spayed if someone can give her a home
