A happy rescue story :) Once upon a time there was a beautiful stray cat that sought refuge in a garage basement in West Bay. The crazy cat lady of the building (that would be me) saw she was skin and bone and was nursing, so she started intensive feeding and was determined to spay her within a couple of weeks hoping her kittens would be old enough. Right after Eid the mother sadly vanished and a few days later emerged a teeny tiny skinny starving kitten scared, crying, looking for mum! With very little sense of danger, the kitten hid under cars and crawled inside bumpers and over car wheels which was very dangerous! After 10 days of feeding and talking to the kitten, today with the help of our beautiful Gill we managed to catch the little boy! Hes 7 weeks old and weighs just about 200 grams, thats half of what he should weigh! My husband named him Maximus, our garage miniature gladiator who was feisty and managed to always stand by his food plate despite his fear! Maximus is at Al Timimi Clinic for observation, the minute the doctor got him out of the crate he was acting as if hes been around humans all his life allowing them to examine him and clean his ears without a fuss! Hes too underweight to be vacciated so he will stay for a few days to try and get his weight up! Max desperately needs a home!
