A hard 190 deadlift from todays back workout. Concentrating on building some thickness over the next 7 weeks or so before cutting again. So heavy deadlifts are a must. Routine:- Deadlifts worked up to 190 Worked back down on 170 150 100 All til failure Close grip pulldown:- 3 sets 10 reps 80kg Medium grip pulldown:- 4 sets 15-20 reps concentrating on time under tension One arm low to high row:- 70kg 4 sets 10 reps Extra wide grip pull downs:- 3 sets failure Close grip row:- 3 sets of dropsets Upright rows superset with shrugs:- 3 sets Rope pulldowns supersets with straight bar curls:- 4 sets 10 reps
