A heads up for anyone wanting to purchase goods at The Good Guys - research your prices first!!! Make sure you check their online price before purchasing any goods instore! On 2 occasions I have gone into the store to purchase goods that I have researched online and both times the prices have not matched..... in fact the prices werent even close! Last night we purchased a new DVD recorder at $347 (based on their regular online price - not a special price), and yet the store shelf price was $499!!! As I said before, this is the second time I have noticed this. When we queried it they matched the price, but something just didnt seem right. I dont know if theyre doing something shonky, but it appears to me theyre taking advantage of people that dont research prices and shop around.
