A healthy and happy Passover and Easter to all Unfortunately, last Friday I developed a rare complication from routine cataract surgery. I have a genetic retinal abnormality that caused a retinal detachment causing total loss of vision in my left eye. I had emergency surgery on Friday I will be out of the office all next week as I have to stay face down 24/7! The office will be open, and I am available by phone. I am not able to write or read. There is also an mdvip md on call if I feel you need to be seen. Iam sorry for this inconvenience and will do my very best in providing care I will be back in office the week of April 21 and hopefully will have regained my sight. Please have an eye exam if you are due I am very fortunate to have a loving family,friends, and terrific patients God bless
