A herd of wolves attacked 6 villagers and livestock in Fuyun County, west Chinas #Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, in the early morning of August 11. 2 villagers got severely injured, one got his ear bitten off. One of the wolves was beaten to death by villagers. Residents in north Xinjiang have seen increasing treats of wolf attacks as the recovery of environment has brought more wild animals back to this area. Local government has organized 30-people patrol to prevent such incidents.
