A hidden investigation aired on CTV last week exposing the horrifying conditions of hens on Albertas egg farms. Currently, there is no regulatory body to ensure that these animals aren’t suffering, so they can cram as many hens as they want into cages, and get away with cruel practices like thumping’ to kill unwanted baby chicks.
