A highly disturbing event occurred last night. My step-son was picked up whilst hitch-hicking last night near Horseshoe Hill. The driver then slowed down and said Are you ready to die!!! then he promptly sped around the corner at high speed. My step-son yelled to get out and he was able to get of the car. Afterwards the car turned around, and followed him and tried to make it seem like he was going to run him over as he was crossing the road. Unfortunately it was too dark to get a good description of the vehicle or the car. All he knows is that it was a car and not a truck and that the driver was male sounded like he was in his mid 30s. The driver sped away up Berth at the Barrett intersection. The sidewiew mirror was possible damaged during the incident. Im posting this to make people aware that there is a genuine psychopath picking up hitch-Hikers on the island.
