A historical moment was made for my 14 year old son, Austin, at disc golf tonight. He and my husband, Troy, have been competing against each other for quite some time. They have been betting that the loser has to buy the winner ice cream. Austin has tried very hard to beat Troy, but has ended up owing him a lot of ice cream. Austin usually only loses to him by one or two points. Tonight they went to a new course, Ash Creek in Azle, TX, to practice for a tournament they will be in on Saturday. After playing 36 holes, Austin came out only being 10 over while Troy was 11 over. This is Austins first time to beat his dad. Needless to say HE IS VERY EXCITED!!! And he is expecting some ice cream tonight! Congratulations Austin!
