A hockey rink Pure ice A sheet of glass” …. Those are just a few phrases that have been used by emergency crews to describe the roads right now in Monroe County. The Monroe County Road Commission is out attending to the roads, but Monroe County Central Dispatch has received numerous calls regarding slide-offs and minor accidents related to the snow. I-275 and the Telegraph Rd. bridge in Monroe have been called problematic areas. There are a series of slide-offs near milemarker 12 and 13 on I-75, as well, so crews are blocking portions of the highway to slow traffic. Be careful while driving!
