A hot water tank from a house in Drum Close Frankston exploded last night and ended up flying through a considerable distance through the air to a neighbouring street. The explosion shook houses in quite a wide area and some witnesses who ran from their houses said the water tank went a few hundred metres into the air. The water tank ended up on the nature strip on Dalpura Circuit. Debris rained down on nearby houses. Luckily nobody was home at the time, and Frankston CFA and Police attended the scene.
