A huge PawFriends thank you to all the people who came forward to offer to help us transport Jack Doodles to his new foster home. With his eye removed last week (and his onions, as well) he was quite nervous in the newness of the surgery kennel environment. Tarryn Sproates van Wyk offered her hubby Mark to fetch him and bring him halfway so Sarah could pick him up and take him to the foster. Doodles was nervous and scared about all of this so Mark took him to the beach for a walk! Oh how sweet. Where do you find a guy who takes the time to comfort a scared little dog??? The message from Tarryn was : well, My husband took him for a walk on the beach and apparently he is a new dog! So i think he just needs time and love. Oh my goodness, I just want to spill tears with gratitude and relief for the help he is receiving. Tarryn, Mark, Michele Bornmann, Martin Knobel, Jackie Chambers, Tanja Schulz Buys, and all the others who so unselfishly came forward with offers of assistance, you have our gratitude from the bottom of our hearts. It has been rough going with this little guy but AW people and animal lovers have come together to make it possible to give this boy a second chance at a good life. x0x
