A huge shout out to my JeRK-mates, past and present. When we chose the name Team JeRK we should have known that fate and karma were going to have a lot of fun with us. Rob, glad you were there to cross the line with us and still offer to run that morning when it would have put your ankle in serious jeopardy. Im not sure what JeRK spirit is, but that was probably it. Kathryn, it would have been great to share this with you, but sometimes life gets in the way. You crossed my mind a lot on that 6+ hour ride. Suzy, ... Are you kidding me? A sub 1:20 swim!! A personal best! All those evenings at the Bay paid off big time! And the hero of the day, Barton who got up at 5:00am thinking he would park himself at transition all day getting great pictures. Two hours later he was signed up to run a marathon. The moment I got off the bike on completely spent legs, I knew you saved our bacon. Id still be out there running if not for you (or Rob would be in the hospital). No, we didnt get a podium finish, but we took away a great story and some awesome memories. Thank you all!
