A huge thank you - here we go! First of all to Alan Collins for hosting and letting us combine with the Grand Prix. The venue was fantastic and the staff were amazing. A lot of guidance and a lot of help. Dan Dvorak and the entire Czech team - from the bottom of my heart thank you and for coming over, refereeing, bringing your lifters, even Honza, and the wonderful Kamil and great Czech women lifters! Thank you to all the countries who attended - Sweden, France, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic and travelling all that way to come and compete. To all the British who attended and supported each other and worked together as it should be. Who worked so hard and put so much into their competing it was breathtaking regardless of whether it was a white or a red. To those same people for battling it out for qualification to the WPC World Championships in Prague being hosted by Dan Celtic Dvořák ad putting the Great in British. Yes, as a new federation we have a learning curve but with the help and support from my international country heads friends who have been incredible and listening to the lifters to keep making improvements we hope to keep getting better. To my committee - thank you for making this happen - without you guys this wouldnt have been the event that it was Dan Yeates, Anthony Giddings, Budgie Mullan, Emmy Louise, Simon "legs" Norcup and the table crew who held it all together - Tony again!!
