A huge thank you to everyone who attended Jacks 25th Anniversay cocktail party on Monday night. A good time was had by all we hope. It was wonderful to see a lot of old faces ( no insult intended ) as well as some relative new comers to Jacks who have always supported us over the years. It hasnt always been easy for John and I, but with the help of some amazing staff both in the kitchen and front of house, we have survived this long. We must be doing something right to have such loyal customers, although I suspect it is the lure of their favourite dishes that keeps them coming back. But John seems to think it is his handsome face and witty conversation. Over the years we have changed our colour scheme our tables,chairs etc but the core values of great food and hopefully good service has kept us up there. This is in no small part due to Johns right hand girl for the whole 25 years, Margie. There isnt a regular customer she doesnt know, even your names and addresses for all you home delivery customers who also rate mention! Another fixture at Jacks is the incomparable multi tasker Sean, whom John cannot do without. So thanks again to all our wonderfully loyal customers and we look forward to another 25years!
