A huge thanks goes out to all those who attended the kitten shower, yard sale and BBQ on Saturday. A total of 17 kittens were adopted on the weekend! It was wonderful to see people so excited about adopting from the shelter. Thanks so much to those who brought in gifts and donations for the kittens. The items such as food and toys will be put to very good use. Some even took the time to put the items in gift bags and we thought that was pretty special :) Thanks to our amazing volunteers, staff and manager Joan who helped everything run smoothly. Also thinks to our President Melody McElman who worked very hard to organize and make sure the kitten shower was a fun event for the entire family. Her hands on help on Saturday is also very much appreciated. We also want to thank TD and their staff who volunteered at the yard sale and BBQ and also donated tons of great items to sell. Thanks to our Board member Jenn for all your hard work with the yard sale. Thanks to Busy Paws, especially Joan who comes in to help organize and sort the yard sale items. This group also helps set up and clean up It was a great weekend and as you can see, many great people work behind the scenes to make these events a success. We have a great team!
