A hugely successful day today once again for PCYC Elegance! After competing at the Qld State Championships today, we have 4 new Qld State Champions and 3 runners up. PCYC Elegance achieved the following: Level 3 - 1st Overall and 2nd Overall, Level 4 - 1st Overall, Level 5 - 1st Overall and 2nd Overall and Level 6 - 1st Overall and 2nd Overall. There were also apparatus placings too numerous to mention here!! We also had many successes in Level 1 and 2 plus the Rhythmic Skools competition but as I do not have them on hand, I cant be specific at this time. Suffice to say, GREAT results there too!! I will report these as soon as I can confirm them. The girls were fantastic and performed so well under somewhat difficult conditions, which made their success even more admirable. Congratulations to you all, we are extremely proud of each and every one of you! We also need to take this opportunity to thank Kerrie Mancini, our Head Coach, for her tireless efforts in preparing our girls for these competitions. It is definitely paying dividends. An extra special thanks too to Danika and Liesel who contribute many hours to both coaching, judging and assisting at competitions on a COMPLETELY VOLUNTARY BASIS! You ladies are so amazingly selfless in your dedication to both PCYC Elegance and the sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics. Without Danika and Liesel, the club simply could not operate.
