A humble request to all the women please dont get offended but the hijaab and abaaya you wear is to hide your beauty so it doesnt attract mens gaze to fall on you but if youre going to attract others to look at you by wearing colourful and designer ones then you are not fulfilling the command of Allaah you are just fulfilling your desires. Please take heed you will be questioned by Allaah the rest is upto you. One more thing I dont understand is why women wearing the full hijaab upload pictures on social websites? You are supposed to be hidden and only go out when NECESSARY islamacally so why are you posting on a social website for the whole world to see? You might only have women on your list but the women who like your very modest picture might have men on theirs and you dont know how many men will see that pic and even though they can only see your eyes you have given them such an opportunity that they could stare at it for as long as they want whereas on the street your gaze should be lowered and you should be moving towards whatever it is you need then heading straight back home. These are not my rules these are our Allaahs rules and He knows us better than we know ourselves. If youre going to practice practice in the correct way otherwise youre not benefitting and youre becoming the cause of fitnah for others.
