A key of the profit: "Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn." ~Deuteronomy 25:4 Occasionally, I will share a Bible scripture that could be applied business-wise, because I’ve studied the Bible more than Business, to be honest. God is very much concerned about our economic relations because it is the basis of our livelihood. I believe the Bible is the fundamental blueprint for a successful human economy. The above verse is a commandment from the Old Testament and it basically means not to stop your animal (or employees) from eating what is necessary to sustain them while they work. This scripture can apply to any business environment with animals, mechanics, or humans. It is to prevent harsh, overbearing employer and employee relations. Basically, God is saying care for your workers or your means of production. Any modern day business student has been taught that happy employees are productive employees. All reputable institutions of higher education were conceived in the heart of Bible study. It’s true, look into it. ~fred
