A kind word from Brian Souters Website: Thank you for taking the time to email your concerns to Brian Souter about the recent disruptions to our services. Please find attached some passenger communications from last week, which you may have seen, that outlines the explanation for these events. Brian is working closely with the team here in New Zealand on fast tracking the repairs and upgrades to the vessels. Brian is also directly involved with our fleet replacement and refurbishment programme for the fleet which includes the introduction of a new vessel that is due here in October and the arrival of Takahe earlier this year. We are hoping to have an update later today from our external ship repair yard in Whangarei and in turn will send further communication out to our customers. Fullers prides itself on offering a wide range of ticketing products in recognition of the varied requirements of the Waiheke Island market. We know our service has not been of standard lately and are working hard to rectify this. This has been an extremely difficult time for our passengers and we’re looking forward to bring you some good news soon and sincerely apologise for the reduced level of service.
