A lady comes into Pandora the other night and she has a very strong accent. She wants to start a bracelet for her niece. I ask her an approximate size of her nieces wrist and she says Well, Im not sure. She lives in Ireland and Im going to see her in 2 weeks. That immediately confirmed in my head what accent she had. She then asks if we have any shamrock charms. I show her all the clover looking charms that we had. She laughs and says Those are clovers, none of these are shamrocks We then get in non sales related conversation and I asked her, Mam, whats the difference between a shamrock and a clover? She chuckles and says, A four leaf clover is for luck. A shamrock has 3 leafs and it is to represent the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. Thats theres 3 people in our one God. And I smiled and said Thats really cool. I didnt know that and she says I assume not many people here do. Every where I go in America I see clovers everywhere. Its hard to find a shamrock so thats my story for the day. Who else knew the difference between and shamrock and a 4 leaf clover?
