A lady who regularly attends classes at The Dream Center has been saving all of her Dream Dollars. She handed us the stack of Dream Dollars and said, When my kids were young and I was a single mother in poverty, I always received help for my kids Christmas. I want to donate all of my Dream Dollars to somehow give back by helping someone with Christmas. This wonderful gesture presented a conflict for us because our assistance program at The Dream Center requires all participants to earn their gifts by attending classes. We accepted her donation and prayed God would show us how to use them. We learned this week that a young mom of four children who is registered in our Santa Shoppe Assistance program (but had not completed her classes) tragically passed away on Wednesday. God clearly showed us how He wanted to use our friends donation. The dad of these four children will be shopping for their Christmas gifts in our Santa Shoppe this week because of one ladys desire to give back what she was so thankful to receive many years ago. Pray for this family and the difficult days ahead. The needs are many.
