A landmark water agreement between Areva Namibia and NamWater will quench Erongo Region’s thirst. Areva Namibia owns the Erongo Desalination Plant, which is expected to produce 20 million cubic metres of potable water from sea water per year thanks to the adoption of state-of-the-art technology including screen filtration, ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis, limestone contact and chlorination.
