A large, detailed study called the Coronary Artery Surgery Study - TopicsExpress

A large, detailed study called the Coronary Artery Surgery Study (CASS) reported that non-surgical patients survival rate was 98.4%, compared to a 90% survival rate for those who had bypass surgery, indicating a 5-10% greater chance of dying from bypass surgery than from heart disease itself. A Duke study also concludes that 42% of bypass patients have cognitive decline from lack of oxygen during the surgery up to 5 years later. Consider healing the cardiovascular system with diet and exercise to maximize health.
