A leading Ice-Cream Company in Jordan is looking to hire a talented and highly motivated individual in the position of HR Manager. Main duties and responsibilities: 1. Provides day-to-day guidance, coaching and support to management and staff regarding employee relations issues, performance management, policies and procedures and interpretation of employment laws, while maintaining a positive employee-employer relationship and promoting a high level of employee commitment. 2. Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. 3. Create ‘open door’ environment so that employee issues and concerns are surfaced and addressed; craft appropriate responses to employee relations issues 4. Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes. 5. Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs. 6. Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions. 7. Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors. 8. Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to management. 9. Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures. 10. Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records. 11. Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. 12. Designs and implements of an HR Management System in cooperation with IT department. 13. Assume full responsibility for the local medical insurance plan, including conducting annual surveys externally and internally, making recommendations to the management for enhancements/changes to the policy and handling employee issues. 14. Implements and promotes equality and diversity policy 15. Delegates work to HR and Administration staff and manage their workload and output. Skills - Excellent command of the English language. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills. - Excellent conflict management skills. - Excellent knowledge in labor laws. - Ability to analyze organizational behavior as well as human behavioral characteristics and motivations. - Display leadership qualities and behaviors.
