A leading Sports company located in Amman, Jordan is looking to immediately hire the following positions: IT MANAGER OVERALL FUNCTION; The IT Managers role Is to manage the Information Technology group staff, as well as infrastructure and network management, virus protection, security, server support and enterprise backups. This includes documentation of policies, process and procedures appropriate to the field of work. This is a hands on technical management role. This individual is expected to lead as well as participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure; ensuring that all hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and business partners. Activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on cross-functional projects is focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development to production by performing operations activities within the project life cycle. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Bachelor degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science, or relevant experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Relevant computer hardware and software applications, including switches, wireless communication, VPN clients, TCP/IP, network operating systems management utility programs, Active Directory, Exchange, Antivirus and VoIP systems. Virtualized server farm technology. PMP or ITIL is a plus. Administrative principles and practices, including goal setting and program budget development and implementation. Team-wide and cross-functional collaboration skills sufficient to work through challenges collaboratively. Technical breadth of experience beneficial for a startup-style environment. Excellent attention to detail, especially with respect to project management, IT Team cross-training and documentation. CIVIL ENGINEER OVERALL FUNCTION: Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations. Completing engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Undertaking complex and repetitive calculations. Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects, subcontractors, etc. Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures. Resolving design and development problems. Managing budgets and project resources. Scheduling material and equipment purchases and delivery. Using a range of computer packages for developing detailed designs. Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: A Bachelors Degree from an accredited college in Civil Engineering. A minimum of 3+ year of experience in construction. Ability to meet deadlines under pressure. A team player who can work effectively in team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills required when interfacing with clients and staff. Excellent command of spoken and written English. Detail oriented. Strong analytical skills and proven problem solver in both team and independent environments. High level of computer competency. EXECUTIVE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English; must be proficient in grammar & spelling. Additional languages is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills. A professional attitude and advanced organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi task and complete tasks within a deadline. Consistent and accurate execution of assignments is expected. Analytical skills, memory-retention, and follow-up skills are essential. The ability to exercise considerable tact, diplomacy, judgment and confidentiality. Strong teamwork, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to organize and coordinate the efforts of other departmental team members. Superb Interpersonal skills, as interaction with a wide variety of people either in person, over the phone or via email, forms a part of daily activities. Careful attention to detail and accuracy required including exceptional proofreading abilities. Ability to work in a fast-pace environment & prioritize work to meet specific deadlines required. Must be self-motivated, pro-active & results oriented. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field. Demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and related experience will be considered. Minimum of four (4) years experience in administration or office management with progressive decision making supporting senior executives. Possess strong PC Skills, including proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Database management. ACCOUNTANT OVERALL FUNCTIONS: Implementing and monitoring systems and controls to ensure compliance with internal policy and local legislation, with reporting line to Finance Director. Ensuring compliance with donor agreements. Monitoring of in-country cash flow, and any transfer requirements. Supervision of grant expenditure records. Preparation of monthly payrolls, and submission of monthly tax returns and quarterly social security to relevant local government departments. Preparation of reconciliation reports - including petty cash, multi-currency bank accounts, company credit card accounts, fuel accounts etc. Creation of management accounts (reports of expenditure versus grant budgets), with reporting line to Finance Director. Preparation of grant accounts at completion of grants. Timely preparation of financial statements for the companys financial year, for audit purposes. Liaison with external auditors for grant audits and statutory annual audit. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 3+ years of professional experience in accounting and finance. Experience in financial monitoring, budgetary systems and controls with strong analytical skills is a plus. Excellent command of spoken and written English. High degree of IT literacy. Experience working internationally is useful but not a requirement. NGO sector experience, familiarity with grant systems is desired but not a requirement. Will need to be motivated, be a self-starter and able to use/show initiative and be a good team player. Should possess the necessary communication skills to working in an unfamiliar and multi-cultural environment. WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL EFFORT: Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice. Travel may be required.
