A leading governmental association in UAE is seeking to recruit the following: Sport Medicine Specialist Detailed duties for the position Core Responsibilities Oversee and manage the medical personnel that report directly to him/her Assist the Consultant in the implementation of best practice protocols and procedures that will be used throughout the satellite Units Perform pre-exercise musculoskeletal evaluation, injury assessment and injury treatment Diagnose, treat and prevent musculoskeletal injuries and health issues that occur during sports and physical training Provide both long-term and immediate supervision for the remedial of individuals Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records Undertake weekly on-site review and clinics of the Satellite Health and Sport Medicine Centers Ensure excellent collaboration and follow-up procedures with the regional military and non-military medical centers and hospitals. Collaborate with the Physical Performance Section in particular, and other members of the association, on relevant projects Review literature on a regular basis to ensure that policies and guidelines are aligned with current best practice and are evidence based Education and training Recognised Medical Degree essential Minimum of a Masters degree in Sports Medicine or rehabilitation required On specialist register or equivalent for SEM Fluent in English Knowledge of Arabic beneficial 2 years experience post Master’s degree or Membership/Fellowship in SEM HAAD accreditation, or the eligibility to gain HAAD accreditation Qualified candidate are requested to send their CVs to med@targetjo
