A lengthy heart-to-heart-with-humour kind of phone conversation yesterday evening with an old friend (Sue Marshall, who does not use the social media) Ive known for some 40 years now. We usually call each-other every couple of months to freely exchange news and/or, gossip,. thoughts on life and death, family and friends, and anything and everything else under the sun, although this time it was under the full moon. It is comforting and reassuring to have some long standing friends that you can talk with at all stages of life. In our case, Sue and I picked up again a decade agoafter having had little to do with each-other for most of the previous two decades, probably due to misunderstandings and a relationship bus-tup within the same circle of friends. However, we enjoy the chance to converse in depth and in breadth whenever we can, and still surprise and provoke each-other along the way.
