A lesser known unification theory, heavy to relativity, is Harameins holofractographic universe. He focuses on loose ends in the standard model by offering alternative geometric solutions to things such as us not fully understanding how the strong force works by saying that it is something else entirely. I find this interesting because we have observed the existence of gluons which is evidence of the strong interaction, and we know the strong force becomes repulsive upon closing distance with other particles governed by it.
