A letter from the Superintendent: The election totals from last night indicate 6,990 votes in favor of the bond and 6806 against. This indicates a 184 vote margin in favor of passage. There are are still approximately 200 provisional ballots to be verified, so the final count can not be confirmed at this time. It could be a couple of days until a final margin is known. I would like to express sincere appreciation to the voters of the Cache County School District. In addition, we collectively give a sincere thank you for the time and efforts put forth by the Building Task Force Committee, the School Board, and all district employees. Even though the passage looks likely, we must remain cautious until all of the provisional ballots are accounted for. We will make a formal announcement as soon as those results are confirmed.
