A letter from the brother who abandoned al Maghrib Institute and turned to ad-Dawatus Salafiyyah Asssaalamalaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuhu, I, Umar Aftab a brother to you would like to sincerely apologize for any misguidance that I preached to you about Islam before today. I had been involved with many deviant groups in the past :- - The people who spoke against the muslim rulers in the muslim lands - People who call for islamic revolutions - People who call for Khilafah. - People who define Islam as a system of governement. - Tableeghi Jamaat - Al Maghrib institute - Al Kauthar institute - Mercy Mission - Green lane Masjid - Islamic Online University - Daawah Table, London Ontario I had been involved with these groups (hizbs) who call to partisanship and preach their ideology one way or the another. They either unite the people of misguidance on one platform or call muslims to rise up and speak against and protest against the muslim rulers. They on one had tell others to say that its okay to wish christmas and shakehands with the opposite gender and on the other hands ask muslims to be political and sound in judgement. One says lets learn books in 4 days other says lets go out for 40 days in the path of Allah. SubhanAllah in this group of ignoramouses I was entrapped and fell prey to their lewd ways until Allah finally guided me to the Sunnah and the ways of the Sahaba and the path and the methodology of our righteous predecessors.I wish the same for you as you read this email. May Allah GUIDE you to the Sunnah! I have discovered the Deen of Allah and the Haqq, Allah is my witness, that I have made clear the fact that I was deviated and as of now I am free of anything that I told you directly or indirectly about the benfits of these groups(hizbs) of misguidance in the past. If any of you persist in following any of these deviated sects or any of their teachings than you are solely responsible for your own affair. This email allows me to CLEAR myself from anything that I told you directly or indirectly about Islam because of my tainted belief in the past. BarakAllahu feek, Umar Aftab via @emreekeesalafee
