A letter to Lauren Hill Hello Lauren Hill, Been a while since I wrote you a letter. I know this most likely these letters I wrote won’t receive you. I want you to know the true fans, the ones who believe your music is more than just songs but feeling from heart that touch us. I can’t write long this time, my daughter and her child, my granddaughter is paying me a little visit. Yes, I am afraid, very afraid. To be honest, I haven’t always been a good father, hell let’s face it; I was a missing in action father. But trust me, I am not the person I used be, with my others sibling, it is still the same, I live maybe forty min. a way but I afraid to talk Sarah , it hurts when look at her. You can see pain on her face when she looks at me. It feels like I am looking into a mirror but her their brother, Daniel Is cool with me, to my knowledge. Anyway, you have to start somewhere, right. I hope there treating you in there, don’t let me have to come in there and bang some heads, loll they better not treat my favorite super star bad! I pray for all the time, no matter how strong a person can be, the thought can be an weakling thing, thinking how you could have done better can be feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulder. I feel like that all the time, but I refuse to let the flesh hold me back from my blessing, anymore. I know, I will most likely fail again, but I will keep getting back up. Fighting harder the next time and until I am strong enough to stay up. Every time, giving the praise regardless of our failures God still loves us and believe or not always gives us an escape, if we choose to take it by faith. Lauren Hill, I wish you could receive this letter. But I love you, as a writer poet, and singer. I got to stop writing; I must get ready for my two favorite young ladies’.
