A letter to president Obama 2015 Mr president In speech after speech you continue to make the same fatal mistake as it relates to the American people and the freedoms we hold dear. What you and your administration do not understand is that the American way of life is not for everyone. You see Mr President the American way of life is built upon the hard work sacrifice and the integrity of the people. You dont seem to understand that you cannot give this Americanism away as a gift. If one wants to be American and live the American experience they must have certain things within them that cannot be given to them. Mr president you cannot give people dignity as a present to be claimed by those who have not been dignified. You cannot make someone great, greatness must be achieved by effort, You cannot make people responsible by not holding them to account. If they seek to be treated as a responsible part of society they must themselves decide to be responsible. You cannot make people wise simply because you send them to school. You cannot equip a person who has no true desire to be of value to the society as a whole. What you and the liberal progressive Democrats do not seem to understand is that you cannot make people stronger by treating them like they are weak. You cannot build a nation by tearing it down. You cannot unite the people by dividing them. In speech after speech you continue to tell the people that you want to fight for them. But you cannot fight for someone who desires to surrender. In fact by fighting for them the way you do you enslave them with dependence. No Mr president you cannot make people independent by having them depend on you. You are an agent of change but at what expense. You usurp the American constitution by setting an agenda then appointing judges who will rubber stamp your cause. Then you overturn the will of the people using the judicial system and courts that you corrupted. You claim the people have spoken by declaring that 36 states no allow gay marriage yet 25 of the 36 states had the vote of the people overturned by the very judges you appointed. Mr. Pres. you cannot demonstrate a disdain for the constitution and then hide behind its powers while are you sign executive order after executive order and memorandum after memorandum usurping the Authority of the Congress and Senate. You can I with the intent to over turn the vote of the people and claim that you are for them. How can you call for unity when you build so many walls. Mr Obama you just dont get it. But I do. The people of America are waking up to you. We know that what you want isnt a transformed America. You want a new American. You and the progressive democrat do not want free men and women in charge of their own destiny. You say you want to be inclusive yet you demand blind obedience. In fact you call a lack of obedience noncooperation as if you are the only free man. You and your liberal friends say you want to help people climb to the top of the Mountian. But then you encourage fear weakness and division. You call the man on top of the mountain a thief and declare that he did not reach the top of the mountain on his own. You make a villain out of those who have risen up from nothing to reach the peak of success. Mr president you just dont understand. You cant understand you refuse to understand. Mr president when you help people regardless of their effort or personal responsibility you not only handicap them, you also handicap their children. You handicap the society that must support them. What you refuse to get is that Americans are not yet willing to give up their independence. Americans are not yet willing to surrender the greatness that America is. America is not yet willing to apologize for it success. We are not willing to be thrown on the trash heap of great nations gone bye. You and your comrades have built a policy based upon America being too great. A policy that seeks to bring America down to a level that is equal to the rest of the world. You want America to surrender all she has done for good as a sacrifice for perceived past transgressions. Mr president what you want more than anything else to take the shining city on the hill and bring it to the valley covered in the mud of guilt shame and despair. Mr president you want Americans to except the false premise that every one in the world should exist on the same level. Even if it means that we must be laid low. You seek to destroy ambition by attacking those who have been successful and gained wealth. You want to take away the incentive to create new things, to search out new avenues, to seek out new opportunities, to reach for the stars. You want Americans to be less than they are capable of being. Mr Obama you and your administration do not understand the simple premise that the greatness in America has nothing to do with the land beneath our feet. It is not in the books in the Library. It is not in the bones buried in the graveyards. Mr president the greatness in America is found in the people who desire to be free the people who choose to step out and stand on their own two feet. It is the men and women of this nation who seek to be great that make this nation the hope of all nations. The greatness in this nation is in the hearts of those who are willing to fight kill and die in defense of our way of life. The greatness in America is found in the drive and passion of the people that inhabit this land. The greatness of is not held by any race or gender. The greatness of America is not a character on the screen, it is in the hearts and minds and backs of those who when faced with overwhelming odds carry on. Those who stood on bunker hill, those who stood in the Alamo, those that charged ashore at Normandy. Yes Americas greatness is in the hearts of those who still defend this nation from militants who seek to terrorize and destroy. Mr president Americas greatness is found in the hearts and actions of those who will not surrender. Those who will not give up with the open palms. Our greatness is not found in those who refuse to fight. Not in those who surrender. Nor those who claim they are victims and wait to be rescued. Mr president Americas greatness is in the American who does not sit by idly and allow themselves to be held down. The greatness in America is in that spirit that dwells within the heart of free men and women who cry out victory or death. The greatness in todays American cries out I am no victim. The greatness in America screams you will not silence me, you will not enslave me, you will not make me live in fear. The greatness in America is in the very people who never give in, who never give up. No Mr president you cannot seem to understand that when things are going bad, just hanging on is a foreign concept that free men reject. Because Mr president the fact is we Americans dont hang on. We do not hang in there. We dont wait for rescue. When the American people are faced with the unbearable we overcome. We do not retreat. We sound the charge. We rise up and bear the burdens before us. Yes When true americans are faced with dark days and cold nights we build fires and light the way. You see Mr president what you and your progressive liberal, democratic party just cant seem to understand is this.
