A letter to those who are working moms/wives. Dear Special - TopicsExpress

A letter to those who are working moms/wives. Dear Special Ladies, We are often bombarded on Facebook and blogs begging all wives who care about their families to not use harsh unnatural chemicals and make all-organic food for our husband and children. These helpful people offer recipes for homemade soap, butter, bread, and laundry detergent. Along with these posts comes very helpful articles about the dangers of heavily processed food and chemicals. I do not mean to demean these ladies who post this information but it can be very discouraging to working wives/moms. We face a daily battle of balancing housework, shopping, cooking, and still having time and energy for our husbands to have a good time with us. So, Id like to ask you three questions. 1. Is your house relatively clean? 2. Is there food on your table? 3. Are your family members wearing clean clothes? If you can answer yes to at least two of those questions, give yourself a pat on the back. Youre doing a great job. It doesnt matter if you use organic kefir and wheat germ in your meals or if you picked up a pizza from Pizza Hut - your family ate. It doesnt matter if you bought chemicals from Walmart - your house is clean. It doesnt even matter if you bought detergent from Dollar Tree - your clothes are clean. So, ladies, dont feel like a failure if you honestly dont have time to make 10 gallons of detergent. YOU are a Proverbs 31 woman who is caring for her family. You are do the best you can. So Just relax. Youre doing great.
