A link has been found between #fracking and #earthquakes in Oklahoma. This is very dangerous for Oklahoma because the New Madrid fault line, one of the largest fault lines in the US, runs down the middle of the country. If one of the Oklahoma quakes were to trigger a New Madrid quake, it would affect large Midwestern cities like Chicago and St. Louis. These cities have not seen a major quake in over 100 years, so they are woefully unprepared. The effects could be devastating. Ohio and Arkansas are, already, concerned about this. Unfortunately, Ohio and Pennsylvania have large gas reserves. Pennsylvanias earthquakes will affect New York City, which sits atop another fault line. today/video/today/55432367#55432367
