A list of activities in line with Montessori principles intended for children aged 1 - 2 1/2. I found that introducing hands-on, intellectually optimal activities at 1 years old caused the progression of development to be different than outlined by Montessori, and many skills developed even younger than a typical Montessori classroom, such as holding a pencil properly. I abruptly ended this list at age 2 1/2, because in my experience, there is a radical shift in intellectual capability at this age, where the child develops a very strong absorbent mind as Montessori called it. amberpawlik/EarlyTwoActivities.pdf
