Buy it at a shop/gallery/etsy eBay etc. and the fees or percentage taken off for the venue is at least 30% sometimes more...so lets subtract 15.00. So the artist gets 35.00...then since your self employed the taxes associated are about 30% sometimes more so we take off another 15.00. The artist then has 20.00. How many hours of labor do you think might have gone into it? Supplies frames etc.? Is there any profit left out of that 20 bucks?
