A little child-like humor very appropriate on this Easter Sunday. . . . One day last week I asked my brother David to pick up Zach from school while I went to an appt. He was happy to and brought along the family dog Kalli with him. And so the story goes as they were driving home. . . Zach: Uncle David, why didnt you bring Scrawny (the family cat) along too? Uncle David: Well, Scrawny doesnt really like to ride in cars - he likes laying in the sun all day and being lazy. Zach: Well my cats, Boo Boo and Pootie are the same way. . . (pause). . . but you know they are dead now. . . (pause). . . but they are in heaven and Ill get to see them again one day. . . . well. . . only if they were cat christians. Uncle David: (no words come, hes just concentrating on holding back the laughter) Zach goes on to matter of factly say: And you know we still have my dog Bella at home. I sure hope shes a dog christian!
