A little clarity from the banal. Soda Pop threw a fit yesterday! He has tended to focus a little less on one subject for longer than a few seconds. He does not want to do as we ask sometimes. He does things counter to our requests for no apparent reason. We are ALL smiles. Lessons from the ordinary, which also border on the profound! When you are told your child will stare at the ceiling and drool, never speaking or moving again, it is a great reward to realize, that he is throwing a fit because very simply, he is seven. When ignores us and turns to other things that are more interesting to him, we know he is seven. Very grateful for his misbehavior.
