A little encouragement can change someone’s day for the better and sometimes their life. At least, that’s what Random Acts supporter Meagan Strehlow had in mind when she proposed her act of kindness to us earlier this year. Meagan worked with teachers at Luxemburg-Casco School District in Wisconsin to recognize a few students for being kind to those around them. The seventeen students selected were given a $20 movie gift card, as well as wristbands that read: “We don’t mind being kind!” They were asked to keep a bracelet and then pass a the others on to encourage random acts of kindness to others.
