A little further south from the old wooden building is the IOSEPA cemetery and a place where gatherings are held yearly to celebrate the lives of the ancestors whove gone on to their rewards. The first picture is of the statue that stands at the head of the cemetery, with the pavilion in the background. The next picture is of my brother David while he walked about the cemetery looking at headstones and reading dates to me. What was soo sad was, there were SOO MANY (TOO MANY) headstones that indicated the person buried there only lived to be one year old before passing on! HOW SAD for the parents of these infants! But on a lighter note, the creativity and diversity of some of the headstones was amazing! Such as the one with the lighthouse! Then, as we were leaving to head home, the last shot was of the sunset showing off for us as we departed...
