A little long this morning but bear with me God has inspired this, - TopicsExpress

A little long this morning but bear with me God has inspired this, I pray it serves its intended! Eph. 5:23-32 For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of his body, the church; he gave his life to be her Savior. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives must submit to your husbands in everything. And you husbands must love your wives with the same love Christ showed the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by baptism and Gods word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man is actually loving himself when he loves his wife. No one hates his own body but lovingly cares for it, just as Christ cares for his body, which is the church. And we are his body. As the Scriptures say, A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. My View: The picture of marriage expands into something much broader, with the husband and wife relationship illustrating the relationship between Christ and the church. Husbands are urged to lay down their lives in sacrificial love and protection. And in this safe and cherished embrace of a loving husband, what wife would not be willing to submit to his leadership? You cant require anything of your wife that you arent willing to do yourself. She is your equal, responsibility and your helpmate! Assure that you examine the text above.... understand ultimate success for your marriage lies between the husband and wife....excluding all outside influences. If the two that have become one are to succeed, it is truly in their desire to do so and a not determined by the influences of outside opinions and advise! Many people are quick to give their opinion or interject their input on your marriage or relationship but most cant even get there own marriage/ relationship to work so how can they advise you on how to fix yours. When seeking council assure it from a source that not only understand marriage but demonstrates it through success in there own....Trust in Gods word and let those that have opinions fall by the wayside. Trusting that God is the Captain of your ship called marriage and his path is a righteous one to ultimate happiness.
