A little over 6 years back when I was still in the euphoria of starting my blog someone commented - Mathew recommended me ur blog..it was an interesting read.. looks like u r chetan Bhagat in the making!! Also, reminds me of the sitcom - How I met ur mother :) That time the comment sent me right up to cloud 9.(To my credit, I had not read him at that point.Just knew of his popularity) But now when I look back, 2 things come to my mind. 1. Being a Chetan Bhagat in the making is not being Chetan Bhagat - one never knows how many years this making takes. It is 6 years and I still have to work for a living. 2. Being a Chetan Bhagat in the making is not being Charles Dickens or Shakespere in the making. Given his reputation in most circles I mingle with, it is a title you would rather hide in the cellar rather than flaunt around.
