A little over a week ago I lost two people Id considered very good friends. How they behaved went to show just how false friends reveal themselves in not only times of trouble, but in happiness. At first it really hurt, that these people who I loved dearly were so upset by my being happy and joyous for a monumental event in my life would try to take away from the luster of it and tarnish an amazing thing for me, by trying to hurt and drag me down to their level. Misery really does love company, no matter what it has to do to get it. Anyways. Its been over a week now, and I feel great about the entire thing. False friends and negative people are toxic. Without the toxins, life is good. Its hard to miss friends who apparently werent friends at all. Life is good.
