A little personal tribute to a neighbor Mrs Heaney who passed away today aged 108 years. I had known her all my life and she always called me Patrick instead of Paddy. I usually made a point of being there to chat to her when she brought her car to the test centre for MOT. She was brilliant @ 97 working the lights, wipers, brakes etc but we always caught her out with the rear fog lamp on her Ford Fiesta. She asked Patrick what is that for? I answered Mrs Heaney it is to be used when driving in fog to help following drivers to see your car. She replied Patrick I do not drive in fog or snow so you can forget about your fog light. Rest in peace pet you were a beautiful lady. Paddy..
