A little rant... And I know there are bigger issues in the world, but I really wonder about Vancouver and its endless, uncoordinated road/ condo/ infrastructure construction that seems to utterly strangle any and all flow of movement in the city. There is something really wrong when it takes over TWO hours to travel, by public transit, then, out of frustration, by taxi, from Mount Pleasant (Main and King Edward) to the North Shore studios. I could have walked to the costume fitting in less time. And the frustration level of the bus drivers AND the cabbie was incredible. Cant imagine trying to do their jobs in this madness. Orange and Black are the defining colours of Vancouver: the colours of construction pylons and detour signs.
