A little rant here for a moment: If you take an oath to serve and protect the community as a firefighter or police officer and then you choose to strike or call in sick as a part of a coordinated effort to prove a point you are, unequivocally, guilty of dereliction of duty and should be relived of your post with no further discussion. When the community you swore to protect goes without a patrolman or a fire engine/truck goes unstaffed durning your shift - youre not performing to your oath, have broken your word, and are of no further use to the community of people who blindly put their trust in you daily. Go find something else to do with your time, youre not worthy of one more cent of our tax dollars. Next - to the knuckle headed woman standing out front of my favorite hobby store with the sign Hobby Lobby stay out of my pants...Im pretty sure Hobby Lobby isnt the one in your pants causing the problem for which you need the medication youre demanding they pay for. We are breeding (quite literally) a generation of people who refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. Its time to turn the tide on this kind of thinking. I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
