A little reflection on the last week for me, which has been an amazing experience. My internship with City is over and now Im back to school, but the last week was absolutely amazing for me. Im in my final year of school and the thought of going into the work force next year was a little daunting, but after this internship Ive gained some confidence in myself. I felt a mix of excitement, nervousness and apprehension on my first day, but by the last day I really didnt want to leave. I gained confidence day after day and Im looking forward to the day I work in a newsroom (outside of The Observer). This year has been really great to me and Ive been blessed with a ton opportunities to do things that are outside of my comfort zone and enjoy myself. Really looking forward to seeing how the rest of my year is going to go.
