A little relief today when the Neurologist indicated that she did not see an area on the MRI that was definitely indicative of a bleed on the brain. She did say there was a small spot that was questionable and that they would do another CT scan to take a better look, but if it WAS a bleed, it was so small that it could be corrected with giving more platelets! We did have an issue with her kidneys and she needs to no back on dialysis until it resolves itself. The worst part of that news is the need for another line placed in her neck or her groin. Those always are areas of concern for infection! She is still using heaters to warm her core temperature, which remains around 95. The heaters are interfering with the silver pads used for her burn issues because to work well, they must remain moist - not possible with 3 heaters attached to your bed!! Burn Doctor called back for consult. Again, thanks to all for thoughts and prayers. As always.....PRAY ON!!
